ACT Information for Students and Parents

The ACT, a state required college readiness assessment, will be given to all 11th grade students on Tuesday February 23rd. The ACT provides valuable information to our schools, students and families as students consider their post-secondary options. Many students are able to use their state-administered ACT score to meet college admissions requirements. There is no cost associated with the state-administered ACT. All eleventh graders will attend in person on February 23rd to take the state-administered ACT.  Eleventh graders will be dismissed from school at 1 PM on February 23rd.

All ninth, tenth, and twelfth-grade students will be on remote learning on February 23rd.  Some remote classes may be asynchronous due to teachers serving as test administrators and proctors.

Bus transportation will be provided for all ACT exam takers. Please visit https://www.nhcs.net/divisions/operations/transportation/bus-routes to find the nearest AA or BB high school bus stop closest to your home. Buses will pick up students from these stops on exam day regardless of whether or not they are assigned to the bus.

Please reach out to your school, if you have any questions.
