NHCS Attendance Policy (4400) states that students will not receive credit for classes where they have more than 10 absences per semester yet have a final course grade of 60 or above. Students in this situation must request an Attendance Review if they want the opportunity to receive course credit.
Students in danger of failing one or more classes based on their attendance record of more than 10 excused or unexcused absences must complete an Attendance Review form. This form will need to be completed by the student and parent/guardian.
Attendance Review Forms must be submitted to Mr. Paul Haas, Assistant Principal, by Thursday, January 19, 2023. The form will then be reviewed and approved or denied by the HHS attendance council. Credit(s) will be awarded if the review is approved for students with an earned grade of 60 or above. Students who have received a 59 or below for the course will not be eligible for attendance review.
